From Skin to Cloth: Why OEREK Draws on Both Flesh and Fabric

From Skin to Cloth: Why OEREK Draws on Both Flesh and Fabric

Ink doesn’t stay still.
It moves. Breathes. Fades. Returns.
Some stories live on skin. Some belong to a sleeve.

At OEREK, we don’t separate tattoos from drawings, or art from life.
Whether it’s a shoulder or a second-hand jacket — it’s all the same to us:
a surface waiting to be marked.

🖋️ Why Fabric?

Because stories don’t end at skin.

We started with tattooing — raw lines, freehand, one-timers only.
Then we looked at the piles of vintage clothes — worn, scarred, forgotten.

And we thought — what if ink could revive them?
Give them a second life?

♻️ From Trash to Tag: An Upcycled Ritual

Every piece in our collection is upcycled —
rescued from being tossed,
reborn with ink,
recharged with energy.

This isn’t mass fashion.
It’s reclamation.
A way of marking what the world tried to throw away.

Old denim. Vintage tees. Abandoned canvas.
We draw on them like we draw on skin — freehand, no template, no repeat.
Each line is a resurrection.

👕 “Marked & Remade” Was Born

We call it: MARKED & REMADE. by OEREK
One-off vintage garments, hand-drawn in our studio.

No screen printing. No bulk. No repeats.

Just ink, rhythm, and attitude.

Each piece is:

  • Found, not made
  • Reworked with hand-drawn lines, creatures, or scars
  • Worn again — louder, bolder, with memory

It's tattooing, just on cloth.

🌪️ Skin ≠ Limit

Some people aren’t ready to get inked —
but still want to wear the vibe.

Some get both.

But for us, it’s not about product.
It’s about channel —
about letting the OEREK spirit move, shift, and show up where it wants to.

🔥 Final Word

Ink doesn’t outline creatures — it becomes them.
On skin. On sleeves. On anything that breathes.
